LAF membership gives organisations a series of benefits, including:
- Representation - organisations are able to make their views known to regulatory bodies
through LAF's representation activities. Member agencies are also
encouraged to participate in sector forums, enabling them to share
expertise or to discuss issues and concerns.
- Training Costs
- are reduced by approximately 15% per person, per day. This means that
for many agencies savings are made after booking only a few courses.
- The LAF magazine
- is sent free to member organiations every quarter. Packed full of
interesting articles and resources, the newsletter provides a clear,
readable source of information about the issues that are confronting
the Supported Housing Sector.
- The e-newsletter - is
sent out electronically every month to members. It contains up to the
minute information on articles to read, resources, funding and job
vacancies within the Supported Housing sector.
- The Directory of Supported Housing -
is provided free of charge to members. It provides an invaluable
resource to those working in Supported Housing or anyone whose work
brings them into contact with those with special housing needs.
- The Online Directory of Supported Housing
- member agencies are given access to the online version of the
directory, which is regularly updated to be the most up to date
resource available to supported housing workers.
- Information - members can approach LAF to answer questions, to help with research or
to provide briefings on current topics of interest or concern in
Supported Housing.
