A half day course which enables learners to build knowledge and confidence around the subject of drug awareness.

Course content

-          What is substance mis-use?

-          Where do drugs exist in the community

-          Attitudes towards drug use

-          Types of drugs and how the effect health both physically and mentally.

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

-          Describe types of drugs and the impact on health

-          Identify attitudes towards drugs in the community.

-          Describe treatment options.
