About the course
This one-day course will be an opportunity for managers, participation workers, and management committee members with a tenant participation remit and participants of the previous introductory course to consider how participation can work in different types of projects. The course will focus on management issues within organisations.
Current government proposals for Best Value and tenant participation aim to radically change the way in which Social Housing is managed and maintained. Councils will have implemented tenant participation compacts by April 2000. Agencies offering housing with care and support will now need to effect those agreements.
This course aims to provide an in-depth study of a topic and is therefore not suitable for those who are new to the service, or have no background knowledge of the topic.
