About the course
To consider risks to projects from clients and ways in which projects can manage these risk to reduce the likelihood of danger to staff, other residents and the project as a whole.
This course is designed for both managers and staff working on the front line, as well as those with responsibilities for policy and planning.
Course Objectives
- to look at what constitutes a risk and at the different levels of risk that different client groups can have for a project
- to look at techniques to manage risk for client, residents and staff
- to look at the relevance of clear confidentiality and equal opportunities policies
- to look at procedures to reduce and provide simple, clear guidelines on acceptable levels of risk
- to look at the ways in which project managers and assessors can try and get the information they need from other, involved, agencies
- to look what constitutes a risk by different agencies - asking the right questions
- to provide some simple do's and don'ts when dealing with risk situations
