About the course
To consider a risk assessment of personal safety in the workplace and develop a training strategy that will identify strategies and procedures to reduce the risk.
This course is designed for both managers and staff working on the front line, as well as those with responsibilities for policy and planning.
Course Objectives
- to enable managers to build awareness and identify areas of potential risk
- to build upon current understanding of Management of Health and Safety Regulations (Management Regulations) 1999 legislation
- to enable managers to identify strategies to eliminate or reduce the areas of potential risk through the development of policies and procedures.
- to develop current working practices and enhance good practice
- to consider the needs supervision and resources for staff and roles at all levels
- to consider risk assessment provision in line with the needs of their organisation
- to consider the impact of working in isolation
- to consider aftercare and support
- to develop methods to share ideas for best practice as Managers
