About the course
Housing projects and those working with homeless people are increasingly faced with clients and residents with multiple needs, including mental health difficulties or personality disorders. Addictive and obsessive behaviour is a complex issue for people to live with, and for those who work with them. In this course, we hope to de-mystify some of the key issues and assist the participants in the development of strategies and understanding. By the end of the course we aim for you to feel better equipped to deal with addictive/obsessive behaviour within the workplace.
The day will focus around question and answer sessions, case study analysis and information exchange, and will be highly participative and informal allowing participants to maximise the time spent together.
