About the course:
Prioritising wellbeing can often take second or third place for people who work in the ‘helping' professions, as much focus is given to the needs of service users, and demands of ever changing services and organisations.
This highly participative one day workshop is aimed at staff and managers and considers the term ‘wellbeing' with the view to gaining a deeper understanding of what it means, how to harness and apply it to one's own life and an understanding of the value of wellbeing as a priority in life.

- Understanding the definition of Wellbeing
- Being aware of the different factors which contribute to wellbeing
- Identifying their own wellbeing
- Obstacles to wellbeing
- Value of wellbeing as a priority in life
- Strategies for applying wellbeing to life and work
- Evaluation
