About the course
To look, in some depth, at the components of Keyworking. To consider what constitutes good practice in Keyworking, and to try and make the process easier and smoother (for both parties). This course is for residential workers, supported housing officers and day centre and resettlement workers who are recently in post or have recently started Keyworking.

- what the Keyworker is (and isn't!)
- incentives and disincentives to Keyworking
- a look at four (hypothetical) case studies
- why the relationship can break down
- 10 Tips on Successful Keyworking

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course participants will:
- some insight into why service users are reluctant "to be Keyworked"
- an awareness of how our attitudes can be a barrier to Keyworking
- some pointers to basic group practice in Keyworking
- increased confidence in Keyworking
- a framework for approaching the process (or Keyworking)
- perspective on how important equal opportunities are in Keyworking (and why)
